		<description><![CDATA[Hello Chassie!  What a treat to get a new post..and what a treat that we are in it!  I had a great time with the raspberry cake!....I even served it for breakfast  (well, as a breakfast appetizer) for some particularly adventurous guests..they loved it!

Thanks for the cudos for Cowichan Bay:  we recently received our certification as the first  Cittaslow community in North America..more information at www.slowcowichan.com
We have a celebration breakfast this Saturday: Mara is cooking pancakes with Local Red Fife wheat milled at True Grain...with blackberry compote and Cowichan Bay Chicken Sausages....I wish you could be here!
